So After We Agree

Sat Feb 8 @ 9PM

Finally. The agreement has happened. It's done. And afterwards, well, there must be agreement first, but afterwards there will be a mutual understanding. But first, post the agreement, a number of things must happen. There has to be a coming together. A contract or a compromise where people can more or less feel there is no disagreement. Firstly, Maya and Sam have come, finally, to an agreement. And this is after that. And that's done. It's all wrapped up. But afterwards is what we really are concerned with. This is a show after all that. And it's funny.

Mr. Suburbia

Thu Jan 9 @ 7:30PM

Suburbia in a nutshell.

Brad Howe's stories, slides, and characters branch off from where he's from in New England. They are things people often think he writes for fun, while in reality it is extremely close to the things he loves and Lives.
Vacationing in Orlando, Florida, driving standard American cars with the James Taylor blasting, lawn seats at a Doobie Brother Concerts, above ground pools, being a Little League Legend, theories on why fixed juke boxes are better than the electric, and his overall desire to settle in the suburbs surrounded by fall foliage. He hopes to remind the audience of the simple lovable life of where we all once came. Some small town in America.

Carmen Christopher

Carmen does 30 minutes of material

Another Consecutive Year of Living

(ACYOL) is a serial birthday play about Evan Garrett’s 29th year on this planet. Starting on May 12th, 2019, Evan will write and perform a 30-minute play every week to illuminate the events that occurred that week. In 2020, for his 30th birthday, he will perform all 48 plays in one 24-hour event. The goal: create a process piece communicating how one person can change over the course of 52 weeks.

For Evan, this epic process is a question about if he can consistently make art he believes in when confronted with the repetition of life. Will this play light a path for Evan to continue on? Or will it act as a love letter saying good-bye to a dream-- exhausting the creative air from within him and reifying himself to the endless excel sheets on his screen?
