New Shit with Meaghan and Zach
Zach Zimmerman (TimeOut Comic to Watch, The New Yorker) and Meaghan Strickland (TV Dinner, A Late Show That Is Also Live) split an hour with new, raw, untested, uncut material for your eyes and ears.
Meaghan Strickland is a comedian in NYC, formerly of Chicago. She is the host of A Late Night Show that is Also Live and a cast member of TV Dinner - both at the Brooklyn Comedy Collective. Meaghan is also a host of The Highlights Comedy Show at Cutloose BK (a comedy show in hair salon!). She has performed standup at the Laugh Factory, Zanies Comedy Club, Union Hall and Caroline's on Broadway (to name exactly 4 places she has performed). Meaghan's lucky number is 42 and you can follow her (no pressure) on twitter @meaghanstrick.
Zach Zimmerman is a sweet, queer Southern boy with a ribald sense of humor. A 2019 TimeOut NY Comic to Watch, Zach’s first comedy album “Clean Comedy,” debuted at #1 on the iTunes Comedy charts the Billboard Top 10. His Edinburgh Fringe debut of the same name gained critical praise and was listed as a show to see in the New York Comedy Festival by the The New York Times.
He’s been profiled in New York Magazine, Vulture, and Splitsider for his unique, provocative, vulnerable comedy, and published humor pieces in The New Yorker and McSweeney’s Internet Tendency. He’s a Moth StorySLAM Champion, creator/host of 100 People in a Room presented at ARS NOVA, and once opened for the drag queen Alyssa Edwards.
He performs regularly at Union Hall, littlefield, Stand Up NY, and Caroline’s on Broadway. Prior to relocating to Brooklyn, Zach trained and performed in Chicago with The Second City Theatricals. He is a proud first-generation Princeton University graduate, and an out queer vegetarian atheist.
