Inspired by the work of Stanislav Grof, the Brooklyn Comedy Collective's Clown Ensemble (Clown III) class embarks on an exploration of the Basic Perinatal Matrices—four experiential realms Grof identified in his research on psychedelic states and the birth process.
I’m going to workshop a character set live with the audience I think, or maybe I’ll do something else, anyway I need some stage time. In case whatever I do is f*cked, there will be really good standup comedians performing too.

Performers get 3 minute slots to try their material out with little pops from After School Special in between. Show off standup, sketch, a character, or even a little poem you've been working on. There is a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR BIGOTED MATERIAL.

The Good Time is a fully improvised show based on one suggestion from the audience. The Good Time is a team made up of Chicago improv veterans who have performed at The Second City, iO Chicago, The Annoyance, Logan Square Improv.
