I know what you’re thinking: “mass: an improvised musical?! Wow finally a chance to see a catholic church service in full broadway form! Just what I want to see on a Sunday night b/c I missed mass earlier due to brunch plans with Julia and her now ex bf Dennis (screw you Dennis).” Well unfortunately, this show is not a musical rendition of a catholic mass.

However, it is a fully improvised musical hour that will likely transcend you into heaven just the same. Featuring Jesse Montagna, Megan Sherrod, and Nick Sessler, with Michael Andrew as music director, this ensemble will improvise a variety of scenes and turn them into songs. Forming melody, harmony, and choreography on the spot, if you didn’t believe in God before, well you just may now.
