One time a person really wanted to climb Mount Everest and then eventually they got to do that. Another time a different person (not the same person as the Everest climber, they didn't have that much free time) was born in a war-torn country and both of their parents and all of their siblings died in an explosion. This person then decided they didn't want to be in a war-torn country anymore but instead they wanted to become an engineer in the United States. Eventually they got to do that. Another time a third person (not one of the other two but coincidentally they have the same birthday as the Everest person) only had one penny in their bank account. A couple years later, they are now the CEO of the world's richest company and they give a lot of money to charity.
These real and fake stories are inspiring. But they are not as inspiring as the story of Koobie, a person who liked football and wanted to play for his favorite football team, a D-III college football team.
Get ready to drop loads of water out of your cry-holes at the most inspiration story of all time: Koobie: A Guy Who Liked Football Who Wanted To Play Football.
Koobie is a play about football that parodies all of the football movies that your gym teachers put on when it was raining so you couldn't do outdoor recess. It also has live football action for the football purists.
Koobie will be a live staged reading. As an additional challenge, the performers will not be given the script until the show starts, and the audience will watch and see if the performers will be able to inaugurally perform the piece without breaking down in tears.
Koobie: A Guy Who Liked Football Who Wanted To Play Football is written by Jason Weitzman and based on the book Koobie: A Guy Who Liked Football Who Wanted To Play Football by Koobie Klipstein and Jason Weitzman.
Performed by A Bunch Of People Who Won't See The Script Until The Show Starts
This is February's most important football event.
