5 years ago, Ash Diggs wrote an original episode of Fox's hit sitcom New Girl as part of an application to NYU's MFA program. A few weeks later the director of the program called him and said "Ash, you're in. I really loved the New Girl spec." Just when he thought he had it all, he realized he could not afford to go- BUMMER! But he's still got the script and with New Girl's continued pop culture presence, bringing it back to life seemed like the natural thing to do. A New Episode of New Girl is a table read of a never before heard or seen episode of the late great sitcom, join us for a night of wonderful opening acts, some of NYC's best comedians stepping into the iconic characters' shoes, and a few surprises along the way.
