Social Media Internship
The Brooklyn Comedy Collective is looking for a passionate, creative and proactive Social Media Manager to join the team. Working alongside the Associate Producer and Artistic Director, the social media manager is responsible for feeding, maintaining and growing the BCC’s social media presence on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and more. This is an internship opportunity in exchange for class credits. This position will work 5hrs/week with a minimum six-month commitment.
Responsibilities include:
Daily posts to Facebook.
Daily posts to Instagram.
Daily Twitter managing and interacting.
Creating SnapChat and InstaStories to create stronger audience engagement and inform community of what is upcoming and currently happening at the BCC.
Attend a variety of BCC shows through the weekends to capture photos and videos to use on BCC social media.
Reply and engage with BCC performers and shows along with any member of the community that comments or replies to our posts.
Develop fun and engaging content (videos, photoshopped photos) that reflects the voice and message of the BCC.
Stay up to date with shows and events happening at the BCC on a daily basis.
Stay up to date with big/exciting projects BCC performers are doing in the industry.
Check in with producing team on a regular basis to keep the momentum of BCC growth on an upward swing.
